I gave 100 people a polaroid camera and asked them to take a picture of their favorite colours in I'PARK mall, one of the biggest shopping mall in South Korea. After taking a picture, they wrote down their names and colours, and I classified according to colours, which illustrates the hierarchy of colours.
I put all the photographs on boxes of the same size.
Only when they are opened, the viewer can understand the hierarchy: which colour is the most popular...
This work aims to encourage people to think positively while playing a game. Each box, made of felt sheets, has different colours and English alphabets. By building and arranging the boxes, people can make positive words. Making positive words with the boxes helps people to think positively because they continually think of positive words while playing the game.
By using paint which reacts to strong UV rays, the message of the poster is revealed according to the UV index. When UV index is above 4, people are exposed to the dangers.
I did a survey to find out what people think design is.
i found out many people like to help with surveys to start with.
I decided to make a survey more playful.
The results of my playful survey were interesting.
People answered with drawing which were different from most paper surveys. Applying the game form made people more creative and through this, answered the question I asked.
